Hongya Cave is built along the mountain and by the river, with a group of 11 story suspended buildings that resemble scenes from Hayao Miyazaki's animation when lit up at night. It is the most iconic landmark in Chongqing.

- On the Qiansimen Bridge: Separate pedestrian and vehicular paths, side view the group of suspended buildings.
- Hongyadong 1st Floor (Binjiang Road): Looking up at the lights and bridge cave.
